The North Central College Department of Chemistry is honored to host the 71st annual MACTLAC meeting on Friday, October 20 and Saturday, October 21, 2023. This year’s theme will be “Chemistry After COVID.” We look forward to hosting over 100 chemical educators from small liberal arts colleges in the Midwest to discuss the important issues facing us and our students. We also invite graduate students and postdoctoral associates interested in pursuing careers at primarily-undergraduate institutions to join us for the meeting.

North Central College is located 30 miles west of Chicago in the historic district of downtown Naperville, Illinois. In addition to our picturesque campus, the nearby downtown area offers many shops and restaurants. You can stay at the nearby Hotel Indigo. Otherwise, there are numerous hotels within a 10-minute drive of campus. We have several hotel blocks available here.
